Michael Sandler is the president of Sandler & Lashaw Legal Search, Inc. He has placed attorneys into law firms, corporations, not-for-profit organizations, big 4 accounting firms as well as consulting organizations. Michael is well-known for his integrity and respect for both candidates and employers. He has helped guide the careers of many of the top practitioners in their field. Michael is a graduate of Brandeis University where he majored in American Studies and English Literature.

Michael lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife and two daughters.

Sandler & Lashaw Legal Search, Inc. is a legal search firm that has been placing trusts and estates, employee benefits and tax attorneys since 1982. By concentrating exclusively in a specific area of legal recruiting, we have built a vast knowledge of the industry and its players. This gives us a tremendous advantage over legal search firms that do not specialize.

Legal search firms have often been criticized for being too aggressive. Our philosophy has been to allow the attorney to control the process. Although we guide and inform, we ultimately encourage the candidate to make his or her own career decisions. Making a career change can be quite stressful. We can be a great resource in minimizing that stress.

Formerly Louise Lashaw Legal Search and Established in New York City in 1982, Sandler & Lashaw Legal Search, Inc. has placed attorneys into the most prominent law firms and corporations. Louise Lashaw began her career at Wells Legal Search in 1978. She left to create her own firm four years later. Having specialized in a very specific area of legal recruiting, Louise was considered a giant in her industry. Sandler & Lashaw Legal Search, Inc. was acquired by Michael Sandler in 2002 - the same year that Louise retired. Louise Lashaw was an extraordinary mentor to Michael Sandler and remains so to this day. Michael Sandler has a vast knowledge of the industry and has an impeccable reputation for truly understanding the needs of his clients and applicants. He joined Louise Lashaw in 1992, after working for a financial institution in Chicago. Integrity and confidentiality have long been an integral part of their philosophy.
